# Troubleshoot verification

> Separate account-link, permission, provider, and worker problems.

## Account linked, but roles did not change

Ask a server manager to check the selected verification roles, the bot's **Manage Roles** permission, and role hierarchy. Dock must be above the roles it manages. Nickname changes also need **Manage Nicknames** when nickname formatting is used.

A linked account is separate from a successful Discord role update. Test both parts.

## Server missing from the dashboard

Confirm you signed in with the intended Discord account and still have the required server access. Check [dashboard permissions](https://docs.docksys.xyz/dashboard/permissions.md).

A read-only preview can show supported migrated configuration without establishing bot presence or a warm Discord role and channel cache.

## Roblox details are stale

Refresh profile details from your account page where the control is available. A public-profile refresh updates displayed provider information; it does not change which Roblox account is linked.

Provider limits or an outage can delay fresh details. Follow the displayed retry guidance instead of repeatedly requesting a refresh.

## A job is queued

A queued sync is not the same as a completed role update. Check the operation's progress in the dashboard and report the non-secret operation or error reference when contacting support.

Do not share API keys, Discord tokens, Roblox cookies, or account passwords with support.
