# Configure welcome messages

> Choose a welcome destination and message for your selected server.

Open the [dashboard](https://docksys.xyz/dashboard), select your server, and choose **Welcome**.

Choose the **Welcome channel** from the selected server's text channels. Review the **Welcome message** and any available join-role settings before saving.

Test the configuration in an authorized test server. Confirm the intended destination and message before enabling behavior for a live community.

A read-only preview cannot save welcome settings, send a test message, or establish that Discord delivery works.
